Douglas, Charles

Douglas, Charles
   Scotland. Contemporary campaigner for civil rights. A Scottish Traveler, he was active in the 1970s and was involved in setting up the Scottish Gypsy Council, which worked in cooperation with the Gypsy Council. He has been one of the members of the Advisory Committee on Travellers in Scotland and was awarded a Member of the (Order of the) British Empire.
