Human Rights Project
   Bulgaria. Est. 1992. Director: Dimiter Georgiev. The organization documents human rights abuses against Romanies and others, as well as providing free legal services to combat discrimination. It publishes a newsletter, Focus, as well as a number of reports and arranges training meetings for activists. It is based in Sofia, with branches in Montana, Pleven, Shumen, and Stara Zagora. In 1999 the project initiated work on the Framework Plan for integrating the Romanies into Bulgarian society.
