Bible Translations
The first time a complete gospel was translated into Romani was in 1837, by George Borrow. Chapter 10, verses 30-37, of the Gospel of Luke had been translated into Czech Romani by Anton Puchmayer in 1821 and published in his book Romani Chib. Details of many post-1945 translations can be found in the bibliography (in the section Literature in Romani).
